当選通知が届いたら、まず、最寄のかかりつけの医院に、母子手帳などを持参して、接種記録のない予防接種の抗体検査をすることをお勧めします。その上で、必要な予防注射を済ませて、健康診断に臨むのがベストです。
順序としては、次のようになります。
- 当選通知を受け取る
-- かかりつけ医で抗体検査を受ける
-- かかりつけ医で予防接種を受ける
- 面接通知を受け取る
-- 国務省の指定医の健康診断を予約する
-- 国務省の指定医で健康診断を受ける
-- 国務省の指定医の健康診断結果を受け取る
- 大使館面接を受ける(健康診断結果を持参)
なお、予防接種を受けると一定期間、次の予防接種を受けることができません。そこで、国務省の指定医で健康診断を受ける日程は、かかりつけ医での予防接種後、次の接種を受けられない期間を過ぎていることと、かつ、大使館面接までに健康診断結果を受け取れる日程である必要があります。
Case Numberの順番が回ってきて、面接通知が届いたら、すぐに指定病院で健康診断を予約します。健康診断についてはこちらの国務省の日本語サイトで説明されています。こちらのサイトではより詳しく解説してくださっています。面接通知が届いてから面接までの約1ヶ月の間に、健康診断を済ませなければなりません。

指定病院での健康診断の1ヶ月前に、抗体検査と必要な予防接種が完了しているようにできれば理想的です。
理由は、国務省の指定病院での健康診断で予防接種が必要と判断されると2本でも3本でもその場でうたれてしまうので、それが怖ろしいためです。ただ、厳密には、予防接種の必要性を判断できるのは、国務省の指定医師だけなので、かかりつけの医院での予防接種の判断も常に完全とは言えないかもしれません。
ちなみに、国務省の指定病院での予防接種はかかりつけ医院の10倍高額でした。
予防接種後は次の接種まで1ヶ月空けなければならないので、指定病院で予防接種をされてしまっても良いように、指定病院の健康診断前の1ヶ月は、予防接種をしてはいけません。これは、かかりつけ医が不要と判断した予防接種を国務省の指定医が必要と判断してしまった場合に備えての考慮点です。
そのあたりも、かかりつけの医院と相談して、接種の計画をたてると良いと思います。
DV-2007以前は、健康診断の診断用紙を国務省のサイトからダウンロードして指定病院に持参したのですが、DV-2008から用紙は指定病院に備え付けられるので用紙のダウンロードはしなくなりました。
DV-2007の用紙を見ると、必要な予防接種は、お多福風邪、はしか、風疹、ポリオ、破傷風およびジフテリア、百日咳、タイプBインフルエンザ、B型肝炎、水痘、肺炎球菌多糖体、インフルエンザです。
私の場合には、国務省の指定病院の予約のときに、成人はB型肝炎が不要だと言われました。予防接種の要件についてはこちらの国務省のサイトで下記のようにガイドされています。

抗体検査を受ける時には、母子手帳を持参します。そして、母子手帳に接種記録のない項目について抗体検査をします。抗体検査の結果、接種が必要な予防接種をひとつづつ、必要な期間を空けて打ってゆくと、1年がかりです。
しかし、Case Numberによっては、1年もの期間を取ることができない人も多いでしょうし、面接通知がいつごろ到着するか、面接がいつごろになるか、確実に予想することは難しいものです。
私の場合は、当選通知を受け取ってすぐに抗体検査をしなかった上、予想よりも1ヶ月以上面接が早かったので、かかりつけ医院での接種を終わらせることができず、指定病院での健康診断のときに2種類の接種をされてしまいました。抗体検査を持参していなかったら、もっと打たれていたかもしれません。
